photographers, please help me with my digital camera?I'm a 15 year old beginner photographer and am looking for a good camera to start out with. I'm not an amateur I have an excellent eye for taking photos and I know quite a bit about cameras. I would still like some help I am not completely confident in my knowledge to choose a camera on my own. I have a small budget, $ 215 but it's good enough for now. Please click the link and tell me if this is a good camera to start out my picture journey :).

I want a canon since word tells me they are the best. If you have any suggestions for cameras besides this one I am completely open to take them. Just give me a link or something to search, thank you.

If you really want to be a photographer, you will need to have a fully adjustable camera. With your budget, that means a good 35 mm SLR camera with standard lens ... less than $ 150 on craigslist in a city near you. Look for a Nikon or Canon 35 mm SLR that is less than 20 years old.
Canon's are not the "best", just one of the best.
If you are willing to let the camera do all the work and just work on your composition, then the camera you have linked will be fine.

Learn from the Canon PowerShot 10 and advance from there.
SLR's or DSLR's are the next rung up on the ladder. SLR's (film) are a study upon themselves if you wish to get into the full development process. DSLR's (digital) will let you produce the photo without realizing the process.

Hmm a good start. When you're a pro you may want a better camera, though.
