what is a good digital camera for a beginner/1st time user?I would like to get my dad a digital camera for father's day. he is electronically challenged. Any gadget with more than an on/off button is too high tech for him. i would like to know about a good camera that is user friendly

I have a cannon... it is awesome and one of the best on the market for about 150.00 which is reasonable.. really easy to download pics and also is video recorder... check out their line, the store rep and research name the brand one of the best....

Hi, yer my grandad is like that as well, maybe a kodak digital as they are pretty straight forward or maybe a nikon brand or similar
