canon digital camera software?I installed software for my digital camera(cannon powershot a550). Everything was installed successfully and the camera is decteceted when I connect it to the computer, but for some reason I am having trouble getting my pics to the computer from the camera. Can someone with knowledge of this PLEASE help me...thanx in advance.

Is your camera connected properly ? Is 'on' or 'off' ?
problems with software, go to www.canon.com and download a new version of your software !
very important 'tip', the camera connection is very fragile, so,
when you download your photos to computer use "reader card".
'tip 2' format your card using only the camera settings

Click on My Computer and see if your camera is recognized as one of your drives.
If it is, you can try using file copy to copy all the pics over.
