What are these features on a digital camera?and what do they do?what is soft focus,partial color,cross filter, retro, radial blur, unsharp masking? these are some editing features on the sony cybershot dsc-w170 digital camera....and i was wondering how they work and where could i find an example of a photo with each of these?

I am pretty sure soft focus gives a picture an airbrushed look, and that partial color is something between normal color photography, and black and white, which gives pictures an sort of aged or faded look, the rest I could guess at, but that wouldn't be very useful, and I don't know about examples off the top of my head.
