if there's no sound then that probably means it doesn't have a microphone. just because it takes videos doesn't mean it will have a mic. i had a kodak once that was like that. just get a new camera, try fugifilm, i haven't had any problems of with their cameras.

There is no mention of sound on the video, nor any particular video resolution like 640x480 at 30 fps either.
This camera doesn't have an auto-focus optical zoom either.
I think you will need to spend more like $ 250 to get such features on your next camera.
While you are at it, just stick with cameras listed on this website.
