Which digital camera is the better choice: the casio ex-z75 or the sony cybershot dsc-w80?I am fairly new to digital photography but have been doing some research and these seem to be decent cameras. There is a slight price difference and I can't decide whether it is due to the name or actual differences. many of the reviews that I have read show both good and bad aspects of the cameras about equally. I am basically torn. Any help would be absolutely great. Thanks in advance.

The cybershot looks like it has a bigger internal memory, which means you do not need to buy a memory card right away until you have more money and also it has a better zoom function, and above all the Steady Shot features is a must have. Go with Sony

Compare to those two models, Cybershot W80 is a better choice. The picture quality on W80 is better. It has face detection and better image stabilization. The battery life on W80 is better too. It could take up to 230 pictures in one charge.
If you concern things other than picture quality, Casio uses a more common SD card. Sony, as you probably know, uses Memory Stick. It cost slight more. If those two are your only choices, I think getting one with better picture quality is more important. Moreover, the startup time on the Sony W80 is very quick.

both of these cameras are great perhaps you better go for Sony dsc w 80 it got very fast processor( same processor Sony used in D SLR cameras), hd compatibility, it is completely different experience to view on high HD TV, it has face detection, you can be more confident in your ability to take properly-exposed, sharp photos (face detection technology, which can identify up to eight faces in the camera's LCD frame, and automatically adjust white balance and flash as well as focus and exposure). one more thing it got a viewfinder, easier to shot day time.
