Not really. Nowadays the minimum you should get if you want decent pictures is at least 6 megapixels. The Canon SD600 is the top rated 6 megapixel camera at the CNET digital camera site - when you look at user reviews only. I bought one based on that feedback and it is an excellent camera. Its around $ 200 right now.
Say What?
Unless you are going to do professional photography or want to enlarge pics bigger than 8.5x11", you don't need anything above 3.2 megapixel. I don't know about the Vistaquest or its price, but there are many good cameras out there for under a hundred bucks.
