Nikon COOLPIX S550 any good?I've been wondering what digital camera I should get and so far I've heard a lot of people say Canon is the best and also heard about Nikon but I heard about this new digital camera the Nikon COOLPIX S550. I've visited the website here.

And so far it looks like it has the best quality lens available, that's what I'm all about quality. My question is would you recommend the Nikon COOLPIX S550 over a Canon digital camera? I dunno cause this Nikon COOLPIX S550 really has me excited and as soon as I get paid I'm gonna go buy me a digital camera so I'm just asking around. Appreciate the help in advance!

I had a Canon SD850 for a week and returned it for the Coolpix S600.
I love Canon, but in this case I wanted a better lens and better low light shooting. The purpose of compacts is to be able to carry it around anywhere and shoot at anything... mostly things like outings, parties, etc.... So I chose Nikon for the quality, but feature wise I still like the Canon.
I love my s600 and won't go back... I have very little post processing to do with it, but if I do, at least I don't have to deal with noise.
