My Innovage Mini Digital Camera says that it contains a chemical known to cause cancer . What can it be?Would it be safe to use a camera like this?

It may be for the small amount of silicon contained in the CCD imagining chip or the electronic circuit board...or it may be battery.
Sometimes, I think manufacturers are getting too carried away with warnings on products because they want to protect themselves from lawsuits.
