which digital camera should i buy? there r so many different kinds i am not sure which is 4 me!?I need a digital camera consultunt?
i am thinking of buying a digital camera. i have no clue which one brand or kind to buy. so here are my guidlines. noting 2 fancy. just 2 take pics of me and my friends. i don think i need any special features. nothing too expensive. if any1 could give me any advice on what to look for and which brands suck that would be very helpful. thx!

I have great luck with Olympus. I am on my second one (I wanted a stronger zoom lens). You have a lot of great options out there. I would suggest going to an actual camera store to talk to the sales people. They have cameras from the high end to the low end on pricing. And they will let you try them out. Avoid the 'big box' stores if you want someone knowledgable on this subject.

my canon sureshot rocks! there are several different kinds. i would recommend you check out consumerreports.org or cnet.com for reviews.

I have a Kodak Easyshare C703 and I really like it....I like the Easyshare camera family because they are easy to use, fairly inexpensive and I LOVE the Easyshare software.....I also would recommend a SONY Cyber-Shot....they are very nice too!! For the use that you are talking about/looking for, I think one of those 2 types/brands of camera would work best! Let us know what you decide!! Hope this helps!!
