SD Card Storage *20Characters.*?

SD Card Storage *20Characters.*?Hello.

I have a samsung digital camera (http://reviews.us.samsung.com/7463/EC-SL50ZZBPSUS/samsung-10-2-megapixel-compact-digital-camera-reviews/reviews.htm) and I want to use it to take videos. The SD cards I have in there now only take about...51 seconds of video.

They say 128 MB on them...I was wondering if I could get SD cards that store up to 10 minutes of video?

Obviously I don't know much about this kind of thing, so help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

128 mb are tiny cards.

You need at last 4 gb, class 6 or class 10 SDHC cards to shoot video successfully at any HD resolutions.

If your camera only shoots VGA video, then a couple of 2 gb SD cards will work just fine

Firstly, your link doesn't work because there is a ) at the end of the url, delete this and the link works fine.

As far as shooting video, unfortunately the SL50 is a pretty basic point & shoot camera and does not have a great performance in the video department. In the specs it says;

"Capture VGA-quality 640x480 video"

It does say in the specs that it will shoot "With Audio or without Audio,(user selectable, recording time:Max 2 hours), so a bigger capacity card will give you more shooting time, but the size of the video when showing on your PC will still be small and probably not fantastic quality.

This is about the lowest quality video you can shoot with a camera, you'd need to spend a bit more money to be able to shoot HD video ( My own Samsung compact does )

Memory cards
The camera DOES support SDHC cards ---- "SDHC (up to 8GB guaranteed),"

Sorry the news isn't better :-(
