No different than buying anything else on eBay. Just make sure you're buying from a reputable seller. I've purchased several cameras, as well as other electronics, and hundreds of other items and I've never been burned because I only buy from highly rated sellers.

no it is very dangerous. you could think that you are buying a camera and when you go to open the box, someone could pop out of it and get you.

It depends. If the deal seems too good to be true then it probably is. There are a lot of scam companies out there for cameras. They'll post a great deal, but hurt you in a lot of areas. They'll find ways to suck more money out of you, like taking out the battery that normally comes with it, and just putting in a cheap 15 min battery so you have to buy a better one. If it's from a person then don't worry about it so much, but if it's from one of the stores, I highly suggest researching the store online. If there has been any issues before with them because of fraud or poor customer service, you'll find people talking about it online. If you really want to make sure you're getting what you pay for, I suggest just going to your local Ritz/Wolf store. They normally have pretty good deals, and even if it costs a little more, then I say it's worth it not to have to worry.
